Qi’Shaun assists in developing, implementing, and coordinating engagement and inclusion strategies at Experience Grand Rapids and throughout the Kent County area. By fostering person-to-person and people-to-organization relationships, she helps build social capital for both our brand and the destination.
It’s a role she’s well-equipped for, having worked in brand reputation management for McDonald’s of Michigan and McDonald’s of Greater Indiana. She also served as Program Coordinator for the Michigan Small Business Development Center – West Michigan Region. Qi’Shaun has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration.

- Runs a candle business, Self Care Sunday, an example of the area’s thriving entrepreneurial culture.
“I'm exposed to a variety of voices and perspectives every day,” says Qi’Shaun. “Hearing the diverse voices of our community and making sure those voices are heard brings joy to my heart.”
